Once again, the band took the journey north, this time to Chatsworth Country Fair, and the English Championships. The results brought an improvement on last year, with a first place in both the Marches and the MSR. Overall, it wasn’t a bad day, and the rain held off.

On the World Stage
On Saturday 11th August Our band once again ventured across the border, this time to Glasgow Green, and the World Championships. After a very tough qualifier, we reached the final to achieve a resounding 5th place in our grade. Once again, making us the most successful English band in our grade.
British Championships
On the 30th June2012, the band made the long voyage up to Scotland in order to compete in their championships in Annan. After a hard fought competition, with competitors from all over the UK, we achieved a resounding fifth place, once again making us the highest placed English band in our Grade.
Scottish Championships
On the 19th May 2012, the band made the long voyage up to Scotland in order to compete in their championships in Dumbarton. After a hard fought competition, with competitors from all over the UK, we achieved a well deserved third place, thus making us the highest placed English band in our Grade.
English Championships
4th September 2011
I played as one of the six pipers competing for the University of Bedfordshire Pipe Band in the “All England Pipe Band Championships”, achieving a resounding win in the highly competitive Grade 4 competition.
